Senior Environmental Advisor
Responsible for ensuring that all environmental related activities (regulatory reporting, remediation, waste management, effluent discharge, spill prevention, ISO 14001) conducted at a Sarnia Refinery (specifically those related to land, water and management systems) were compliant/align with both regulatory requirements and external/internal stakeholder expectations.
Provided the Project Management group with an evaluation of environmentally related impacts as they relate to work activities (i.e. regulatory approvals, data requirements, stakeholder communications, waste etc.) and assist with issue resolution to ensure project success. Provide detailed input and stewardship for complex multi-stakeholder projects which are environmentally driven (i.e. Vidal Street Remediation)
Provided 24/7 environmental subject matter expertise to operations by providing guidance to resolve environmentally related issues/impacts.

Environmental Coordinator
Responsible for the overall management of all environmental activities at an natural gas liquids fractionation site (air, water, land, waste and spill prevention).

Responsible for development, implementation and continued maintenance of the company Operations Management System, encompassing all aspects of business operations.
Defined, developed, implemented and maintained of a number of systems/processes to support Operating Management System and Control of Work protocols. Provided detailed input to internal and external stakeholders during the development process
2002-2007
Environmental Scientist
Responsibilities included the daily operation and maintenance of the Sarnia Lambton Environmental Association continuous air and water emissions monitoring sites following the procedures outlined by the Environmental quality system.
Activities included;
- daily site visits and logbook entry.
- Instrument (SO2, TRS, O3, N0x, C2H4, Gas Chromatography, and VOC analyzers) troubleshooting and repairs, monthly instrument calibration, VOC tube and canister set-up, general station maintenance, as well as editing and interpretation of data.
- Operation and calibration of a Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometer GC-MS) in order to run water samples for low level contaminant analysis.
- 24 hour response to abnormal contaminant levels, spills, instrument malfunction and L.I.S.A and L.I.M.A calls.
- From 2004 to 2007, developed and submitted reports to the National Pollutant Release Inventory and Ministry of the Ontario Regulation 127.
